Xavi Hernandez, the coach of the Netherlands national team, emphasized the difficulty of facing Greece, stressing the need to respect the opponent and not fear them.

The Netherlands national team is preparing to face Greece tomorrow, Thursday, in the third round of Group 2 matches in the UEFA Nations League.

Xavi said at the press conference: "We must not fear Greece, but we have to respect them. They are performing well and have plenty of talent, especially in the attacking line. It will be a difficult match."

Regarding Jan Paul van Hecke's injury, he said: "He is a fighter and tried to continue over the past few days, but today's training session revealed that the pain is very severe. It is unfortunate."

He continued, "Virgil van Dijk can play on the right side. I know this is not his preferred position, but he can help the team. If we need a player in another position, the team comes first."

He concluded by highlighting the importance of Crysencio Summerville, saying: "He can make a difference with the ball. He can play in any attacking position. He has the potential and abilities to become a top-class player."

The Netherlands national team is in Group 2, which includes Germany, Greece, and Serbia.

The Netherlands drew with Germany in the first round, one goal for each team.

They won the second match against Serbia 2-1.

They occupy second place with 4 points, behind Greece who have a perfect record of 6 points.
