Néstor Lorenzo, the coach of Colombia, believes that his team needs luck in facing Ghana in the World Cup.

The Colombian team will meet Ghana at 4:30 AM on Saturday, in the round of 32.

Lorenzo said in statements at the press conference before the match: "There is one thing that hasn't changed, which is my 89-year-old mother's advice. She repeats the same guidance before every big challenge."

He continued, "A mother's advice is always the same. Mothers never tire of repeating it, and she previously advised me not to get into fights with journalists."

Regarding his Ghanaian opponent, he explained, "I don't know if Ghana will play with a compact defensive style. Maybe they want to surprise us or attack with all their might."

He continued, "If the African team chooses to retreat, we will need precision, movement, and long-distance shooting."

He added, "The prevailing feeling is that the competition is very balanced, and victory is available to everyone."

He concluded, "Alongside good performance, you need a bit of effectiveness and luck."

The Colombian team qualified for the round of 32 after topping group 11 with 7 points.

Meanwhile, the Ghanaian team ranked third in group 12 with 4 points.

The winner of that match will meet the Swiss team on Tuesday, July 7, at 11 PM, Cairo time.
