Roberto Ayala, the assistant coach of the Argentine national team's technical staff, stressed his team's readiness to face Egypt.
The Egyptian national team will play against Argentina shortly in the round of 16 of the World Cup competition.
Roberto Ayala, assistant coach of Argentina, said via Bein Sports: "Our idea is to exploit the spaces when we have possession of the ball".
He added, "We saw that there is an opportunity for that, because they often defend with an advanced line and leave spaces, and here the quality of our players appears in exploiting them".
He concluded, "We come from a difficult match and a complicated qualification, and we have a great desire to present a good performance against Egypt, to make amends, and to settle the qualification".
The Egyptian national team qualified for the round of 16 after winning against Australia on penalties 4-2 after the end of the original and extra time with a 1-1 draw.
As for the Argentine national team, it eliminated Cape Verde with a score of 3-2 after the match extended to extra time.
The winner of that match will meet in the quarter-final round, against the winner of Colombia against Switzerland, scheduled for 11 pm today.
