Press reports revealed the plan of Mohamed Wahbi, the technical director of the Moroccan national team, to exclude the player of the first football team at Al-Ahly club from the Atlas Lions in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Wahbi is studying making important changes to the Moroccan national team squad, in preparation for facing Gabon and Lesotho on September 25 and 28 next, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, for the first and second rounds of the qualifiers.
The Moroccan coach is inclined to give the opportunity to a number of elements that excelled with the youth national team during its participation in the World Cup finals in Chile, with the aim of testing their qualifications and the possibility of relying on them in the future with the first team.
