Mohamed Kamal, the technical director of the Egypt women's national team, announced the squad participating in the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Morocco.
Morocco is hosting the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations finals from July 26 to August 16.
The squad included 9 professional players in Morocco, Canada, the United States, and China, in addition to 7 players from the league and cup champions' path and the same number from Al Ahly, as well as two players from Wadi Degla and one from Palm Hills.
Egypt's women's national team is grouped with Nigeria, the historical champions of the competition, as well as Zambia and Malawi.

For the first time, 16 teams are participating in the tournament, and Egypt's women's national team is among the qualified teams.
Egypt is participating based on an invitation extended to 4 teams to increase the number of participating teams from 12 to 16.
Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, and Mali also joined the participating teams in the tournament.
Egypt's women's national team is participating for the third time in history and the first time since 2016.
Egypt begins its campaign against Zambia on July 28, then Malawi on August 1, and concludes its matches against Nigeria on August 5.
