Cheikh Oukadjar, a player for the Turkish club Trabzonspor, confirmed that his team is facing Hungary's Ferencváros with the aim of qualifying for the Europa League main stage.
Trabzonspor will face Ferencváros at 9:30 PM tomorrow, Thursday, at the Groupama Arena in Hungary, in the second leg of the Europa League final qualifying round.
Cheikh Oukadjar stated in remarks quoted by the Turkish newspaper 61 Saat: "We came here to qualify... We hope to turn the away-game atmosphere to our advantage through our style of play and by executing the right actions required on the pitch."
The Trabzonspor defender stressed that a 1-0 victory would not be enough to advance, as the first leg ended with the Turkish team losing by the same scoreline.
Oukadjar concluded his remarks by saying: "A 1-0 win will not be sufficient for us to qualify... We want to achieve the required result and return home having secured our place in the Europa League."
Trabzonspor needs to win tomorrow's match by at least a two-goal margin to overturn their deficit and secure qualification for the Europa League.
Ferencváros had previously defeated their hosts, Trabzonspor, 1-0 in the match that brought the two teams together last Thursday at Papara Park, in the first leg of the Europa League final qualifying round.
