Ferencváros coach reveals how to stop Mohamed Salah before the Trabzon match

Balázs Borbély, coach of Ferencváros, has warned his team ahead of facing Trabzonspor's star player, Mohamed Salah, before their Europa League clash.

Ferencváros will host Trabzonspor tomorrow Thursday in Hungary for the second leg of the Europa League playoff round to qualify for the group stage.

Ferencváros holds the advantage after winning the first leg last week in Turkey 1-0, but the result is not guaranteed given that Trabzonspor boasts Mohamed Salah in their ranks.

During the press conference for the match, which was covered by the website "61saat," Borbély confirmed that stopping Mohamed Salah would not be easy, clarifying that tactics alone would not suffice to counter the Egyptian Pharaoh.

Borbély said: "When we play against players of this caliber, we must give our utmost to achieve victory, as tactics alone are not enough; we must demonstrate strong character."

He added: "We must have great confidence tomorrow, deliver high-quality performance both defensively and offensively, and show considerable experience in every situation. My players possess these qualities."

Borbély indicated that Ferencváros is prepared for a penalty shootout scenario against Trabzonspor tomorrow, stating: "We are already training on penalties, and this is nothing new for us. Of course, I would be happy if the match does not reach a penalty shootout."

Borbély also emphasized that the result of the first leg is not reassuring, concluding: "We will play in our usual style with only one objective: qualification. Defense is not our approach."

Mohamed Salah proved his credentials with Trabzonspor after scoring two goals in his team's 2-1 victory over Başakşehir last Sunday in the Turkish league.
