Trabzonspor Turkish club issued an official statement regarding one of the former Liverpool team players, who has been linked in recent days with a move to the team that the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah recently joined.
Mohamed Salah signed a two-year contract with Trabzonspor, until 2028, last Thursday.
Trabzonspor is keen to continue strengthening the team's ranks with new deals in preparation for the upcoming season, 2026/27, and among the players linked with the club was Darwin Nunez.

Darwin Nunez has become an unwanted player in the ranks of the Saudi Al-Hilal team, which led to the spread of speculations about his future.
Trabzonspor said in an official statement: "An agreement has been reached with Al-Hilal club regarding the signing of Darwin Nunez on loan, as we agreed with the player himself."
Trabzonspor is preparing to start its journey in the Turkish league season next Saturday with its match against Kasimpasa.
