Barcelona club received a painful blow among its ranks before the start of the new 2026/2027 season, after one of its players was injured during the team's training.
Sport newspaper confirmed that Barcelona's winger, Ronnie Bardghji, suffered a strong injury at the knee level, and the player was unable to complete the recent training.
The newspaper added that Bardghji will undergo medical examinations in the coming hours, but initial indications suggest that the injury is serious and may keep the player out of action for several months.
Bardghji did not travel to Italy with the rest of Barcelona's players to participate in the triangular tournament alongside Udinese and Nottingham Forest, as he was excluded by coach Hans Flick and remained in Spain.
Bardghji's failure to travel to Italy came amid the possibility of his permanent departure from Barcelona this summer or being loaned to one of the clubs, with interest from Spanish clubs to sign him, but the injury may hinder the young winger's exit from the Blaugrana ranks.

Sport reported that the first examination Bardghji underwent indicated the possibility of a serious knee injury, but confirmation will only come through the final diagnosis.
Bardghji had previously suffered a serious knee injury during his football career, which forced him to miss matches for up to ten months.
Sport added that a meeting took place a few days ago between Barcelona's sporting director Deco and Bardghji's agent to discuss the future of the Swedish international.
Deco agreed with Bardghji's agent that the latter's departure while Barcelona retains a percentage of any future sale is the best option for the player.
Despite Bardghji's good performances with Barcelona given the minutes he played last season, the player appears to have almost no chance of getting regular playing time next season, with the presence of Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal.
Sport also spoke about the future of Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado, who received two offers from the Saudi league, specifically from Al Ahli Jeddah and Al Hilal, but the young player prefers to wait before making his final decision.
Casado prefers to continue playing in European leagues, while Barcelona wants 40 million euros in exchange for allowing the departure of the player whose role in the team has diminished with the emergence of Marc Bernal, alongside the imminent signing of Rodri from Manchester City.
