The 26-year-old goalkeeper spent 7 seasons with the Leeds United shirt, participating in 215 matches and keeping 70 clean sheets.

Ilan began his career at French Lorient and made his debut in 2018, and after his brilliance he joined Leeds United in 2019.

Meslier became Arsenal's second signing this summer after activating the buy clause for Piero Hincapié from Bayer Leverkusen for 40 million euros.

Ilan's joining came to compensate for the departure of Karl Hein to Werder Bremen for 3 million euros.

Meslier will become Arsenal's third goalkeeper next season after the Spanish duo David Raya and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
