Celebrations continue in Turkey on the occasion of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah joining the Trabzonspor team, as the last few days witnessed great interest in that deal.
The Turkish website "61saat" highlighted the celebration by the son of the former Trabzon president, who distributed sweets in the streets after the player joined the team.
The club president's son appeared next to one of the cars carrying many pieces of sweets, distributing them to passersby in celebration of Salah's joining.
Among the notable items were the banners placed by the former president's son in front of the car, which read: "In honor of Mohamed Salah's transfer to Trabzonspor".
Reports indicated that this type of sweets is made in a neighborhood called Simizkomlar in the Silivri area of the Turkish city of Istanbul.
Salah joined Trabzonspor in a major deal that shook Turkish football in recent days, especially after the player entered into negotiations with competing clubs such as Beşiktaş.
Salah signed his joining contracts to the team amid a large public presence at the Trabzonspor stadium, where fans celebrated the signing with enthusiastic chants and banners bearing the player's name, alongside burning fires.
