The friendly match played by Zed team against Kocaeli Spor has ended, as part of the Egyptian team's preparations to participate in the next season.
The positive draw with a 1-1 result decided the match between the two sides, as this match is the fourth and final friendly that the team will play in the Turkey camp before the start of the season.
Kocaeli Spor is considered one of the prestigious clubs in Turkey, and a number of Egyptian football stars have previously worn its jersey, most notably Ahmed Hassan, the dean of the world's players, along with Ayman Abdel Aziz, Medhat Abdel Hadi, Ahmed Bilal, and Mohamed Gouda.
Zed played three friendly matches during its external camp, achieving a perfect record, after winning against Emirati Khorfakkan with a score of (3-1), then Kuwaiti Al-Salmiya (3-0), before defeating Bahraini Al-Muharraq with a goal without reply.
It is scheduled for Zed to open its path in the Egyptian League with a match against Wadi Degla on August 21, and the draw for the Egypt Capital Cup placed it in the second group alongside Zamalek, Wadi Degla, Tala'ea El-Gaish, and Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari.
In the Confederation, Zed will begin its path with a match against ASAS, the Djibouti champion, in the round of 64.
