According to the statistics network "FotMob," the 2026 World Cup edition has not seen a player create more goal-scoring opportunities than Salah, with a total of 16 chances.
The "Pharaoh" reached this number after creating 5 chances against Australia, before the "Pharaohs" won on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.
In second place in terms of chance creation is Belgian winger Leandro Trossard, with 16 chances, followed by Moroccan full-back Achraf Hakimi, with 14 chances.
Salah surpassed Trossard because he creates 4.3 chances every 90 minutes, while the Arsenal player creates only 4 chances every 90 minutes.
