Mohamed Salah, the star and captain of the Egyptian national team, topped an impressive offensive statistic in the 2026 World Cup finals, after successfully qualifying for the Round of 16.

The Egyptian team overcame the obstacle of Australia in the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup in penalty shootouts, setting up a meeting with Argentina in the Round of 16.

Mohamed Salah tops the list of most chance creators

According to the statistics network "FotMob," the 2026 World Cup edition has not seen a player create more goal-scoring opportunities than Salah, with a total of 16 chances.

The "Pharaoh" reached this number after creating 5 chances against Australia, before the "Pharaohs" won on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.
