Jarrell Quansah, the Bayer Leverkusen defender, has entered Real Madrid's list of targets to strengthen their defense during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to the newspaper "Bild," Real Madrid is closely monitoring Quansah, having caught the club's attention with his ability to play in multiple defensive positions, as he excels both as a center-back and a right-back.

Quansah moved to Leverkusen from Liverpool at the start of last season.

Liverpool holds a clause allowing them to buy back the player for €70 million, valid until June 15th next year.

Real Madrid believes that Quansah's versatility across various positions in the defensive line is an attractive factor for the club, given its search for new options to bolster its defense.

Real Madrid is not the only club following the English defender, as Quansah is attracting interest from several European clubs.

The 23-year-old has featured in six matches for Leverkusen since the start of the current season and scored one goal.

Quansah was included in the England squad as a right-back for the 2026 World Cup.
