According to "Calcio Mercato," new contacts have taken place in recent hours between Juventus management and David's representatives to discuss the player's future.
Juventus continues to push for a resolution, but David remains steadfast in his position, wishing to stay with the team, convince the technical staff, and revive his career in the Italian league.
David made his name with Lille and continues to attract interest from several clubs, particularly in France, led by Paris FC. The player has also received interest from Hull City in the English league.
David's name has also been linked with Fiorentina, should Moise Kean's move to Como be completed, as well as with Atletico Madrid, in a potential swap deal involving Alexander Sørloth.
David's stance could change under the continuous pressure from Juventus, especially as the club wants him to leave to free up space in their squad, allowing them to complete new signings.
Juventus management, led by Giovanni Carnovali and Frederic Massara, is working to sign a physically strong striker, a position Spalletti has requested to be reinforced for some time.
