A total of 36 teams have qualified for the league phase and will be divided into four pots, with nine teams in each pot.
The draw will be conducted electronically, ensuring each team faces two opponents from each pot, totaling eight matches: four at home and four away.
At the conclusion of the league phase, points will be tallied, with the top eight teams in the standings advancing directly to the Round of 16.
Teams ranked ninth through 16th will play a playoff match against teams ranked 17th through 24th to determine the remaining eight participants in the Round of 16.
Specifically, the teams finishing ninth and tenth will face one of the teams placed 23rd or 24th following a draw, and this pattern will apply to the other positions accordingly.
The league phase will feature four teams making their historic debut in the UEFA Champions League: Norway's Viking, Azerbaijan's Sabah Baku, Austria's LASK (who qualified via the playoffs), and Italy's Como, who secured direct qualification.
France's Paris Saint-Germain holds the UEFA Champions League title from the previous two editions.
