Arsenal English club announced the signing of French goalkeeper Illan Meslier in a free transfer deal.
Meslier was playing for the English club Leeds United, before his contract ended on June 30 last.
The 26-year-old French goalkeeper signed his joining contracts to the Arsenal team, without revealing the duration of his contract with the "Gunners".
Arsenal indicated in an official statement that Meslier will wear the number 30 jersey and will join his new teammates in the team, when the "Gunners" return to training in preparation for the new season.
Meslier said in statements after joining Arsenal: "I am extremely happy, it is a great day for me because I have just joined the league champions, for me Arsenal is the biggest club in England".
The French goalkeeper concluded: "I am very happy and proud to join Arsenal, I look forward with eagerness to showing my love for this club, and I aspire to win titles with this team, because it is a club that deserves to harvest titles again and again".
