Trabzonspor Turkish fans chanted the name of the Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah, amid news of his approaching to wear the Turkish team's jersey for the next season 2026/2027.
Many Turkish press reports over the past few days discussed Mohamed Salah's approaching move to join Turkish club Beşiktaş after his departure from Liverpool last June, but everything changed yesterday after Trabzonspor's intervention.
Mohamed Salah's transfer deal to Beşiktaş has been stalled so far due to the financial demands sought by Rami Abbas, the agent of the Egypt national team captain.
Mohamed Salah left Liverpool after the end of last season due to a dispute between him and Dutch coach Arne Slot, who also left the team.
Press reports a few hours ago provided details of the offer submitted by Trabzonspor to sign the Egypt national team captain for next season, (for details click here).
During Trabzonspor fans' celebrations of the club's anniversary, the fans chanted the name of the former Liverpool star, saying: "Oh God, in the name of God, Mohamed Salah", in an attempt to woo the Egyptian star to successfully complete the deal and join the team.
