Al-Hilal Saudi Football Club's first team defeated Al-Shabab 2-0 in the match held this Friday evening, as part of the fifth round of the Saudi League.
The first half ended in a goalless draw between the two teams, with Al-Hilal enjoying somewhat superior play and attempting on several occasions to score the opening goal, but Al-Shabab kept their net clean.
Al-Hilal opened the scoring in the second half through the Serbian Sergej Savić in the 53rd minute of the match.

The Portuguese player Rúben Neves added Al-Hilal's second goal in the 87th minute via a penalty kick, concluding the Riyadh derby with a clean 2-0 victory for Al-Zaeem.
With this result, Al-Hilal tops the Saudi League standings with a perfect record of 15 points, while Al-Shabab sits in 13th place with 3 points.
