English club Manchester City issued an official statement to announce a new signing during the current 2026 summer transfer window, specifically on the final day of the mercato.
According to Manchester City's statement, the club secured the services of player Iliman Ndiaye after reaching an agreement with Everton regarding this move.
The Senegalese player signed a five-year contract with Manchester City, running until 2031.

Ndiaye played for Everton for two years, and prior to that was with Marseille. He also excelled with Sheffield United, playing a key role in leading them to the English Premier League in the 2022/23 season.
Ndiaye has represented the Senegal national team in 44 matches, including the 2022 and 2026 World Cup tournaments.
Ndiaye is described by Manchester City's official website as a dangerous attacking player who can play on the wing or as a striker, is comfortable using both feet, and represents a source of creativity and goal-scoring.
Press reports indicate that the value of the deal amounts to £65 million.
