Juventus finalized the signing of Senegalese player Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham, following the acquisition of German striker Nick Woltemade from Newcastle.

Sarr joined Juventus on a one-season loan from Tottenham for €2.5 million, with an option to buy for €27.5 million.

The 23-year-old Sarr began his professional career with French club Metz, attracting attention at an early age, which made him a target for several European clubs.

In 2021, Sarr signed with Tottenham but remained in the French league for one additional season on loan.

The Senegalese player gained significant experience during his time in England, featuring in over 100 Premier League matches, and was part of the squad that won the Europa League title in the 2024/25 season.

At the international level, Sarr has become a key element in the Senegal national team, playing a crucial role in his country's victory at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.
