Egyptian international Mostafa Mohamed, the striker of French club Nantes, will arrive in Turkey early Sunday to complete his transfer to Konyaspor.

Konyaspor has finalized its agreement with Nantes to sign Mostafa Mohamed during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The newspaper Anadolu'da Bugün Spor revealed that Mostafa Mohamed will arrive in Istanbul before heading to the city of Konya early Sunday.

Mostafa Mohamed will undergo a medical examination before the deal is officially announced.

Mostafa Mohamed will be signed to a three-year contract with Konyaspor.

Mostafa Mohamed's departure from the Yellow Canaries came after a deterioration in his relationship with the club's board, following a decline in his playing time last season, alongside the team's relegation to the second division.

The 28-year-old Egyptian star currently has a market value of €3.50 million and will seek to regain his form with Konyaspor once the deal is officially completed in the coming period.

Mostafa Mohamed joined Nantes during the 2022 transfer window on loan from Galatasaray, with an option to buy, which was exercised in June 2023 for €6 million.

During his three-year stint with the French club, Mostafa Mohamed played 136 matches for Nantes, scoring 29 goals and providing 8 assists.
