RMC Sport network reported that hundreds of Moroccan fans gathered on Wednesday evening in front of the hotel where the French national team is staying in Boston, and launched fireworks and beat drums in an attempt to influence the "Roosters'" preparations before the quarter-final match.

The Moroccan national team faces its French counterpart at eleven in the evening today, Thursday, in the quarter-final round of the World Cup.

The network added that the fans started launching fireworks in the streets near the hotel, before approaching the residence of the French national team, amid continuous chants and loud horn sounds, which caused a state of noise that lasted for a while.

It indicated that the security personnel tasked with securing the French national team delegation intervened to talk to the fans, before a large number of them left the area after a friendly dialogue.

In the same context, RMC Sport clarified that Thierry Henry and André-Pierre Gignac visited the French national team delegation on Wednesday evening, where they met the players and the technical staff, before leaving the hotel after ensuring the atmosphere inside the camp.

The network pointed out that the tournament witnessed such incidents more than once, after other national teams complained about attempts by rival fans to make noise outside the accommodation headquarters before the matches.
