Moroccan club Tetouan enters negotiations to sign Mohamed Abou Gabal

A source close to Mohamed Abu Gabal, the former goalkeeper of Modern Sport, revealed that Moghreb Tetouan has entered negotiations to sign the player.

The 37-year-old player became a free agent after his contract with Modern Sport expired at the end of last season.

A source close to Abu Gabal told FilGoal: "Abu Gabal is currently in negotiations with Moghreb Tetouan, and there is a convergence of views between both parties."

He added: "The player wishes to join the Moroccan league, and the club is making strong efforts to finalize the deal in the coming days, especially since he is a free agent."

He continued: "Abu Gabal is still in Egypt and has not traveled yet, but it is expected that he will conclude the negotiations in the coming days, then travel to Morocco to undergo medical examinations, sign the contract, and join the Moroccan team."

He concluded his statements by saying: "It is incorrect to claim that the club is suffering from a registration ban."
