Manchester City Club confirms that at 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026, it submitted a comprehensive appeal against the opinion of the Premier League Commission regarding the disciplinary matter concerning the league.
The club maintains its firm stance that this opinion - for multiple reasons - contains clear fundamental errors relating to legal aspects, principles, and facts, rendering it an unsound opinion.
The club affirms its innocence from the charges brought by the Premier League, emphasizing the existence of a comprehensive body of compelling evidence supporting all its positions regarding this case.
We will continue to respect the established legal procedures, and we confirm that we are necessarily restricted in what additional statements we can make until all proceedings are complete.

City filed the appeal against the league's decisions one day before the deadline expired, which was Friday, October 2.
The Premier League Board revealed its intention to complete the entire process as quickly as possible.
For its part, Manchester City Club issued a statement responding to the charges brought against it by the Premier League.
Among the 115 charges brought against Manchester City, 35 were related to failure to cooperate with the Premier League investigations.
