Maher Gharib, the Director of Media at Zamalek Club, revealed that the board of directors has refused to sell Ahmed Fatouh.

Ahmed Fatouh's agent, Samir Salah, had previously disclosed that Libyan club Al-Ahli Benghazi submitted a new offer to Zamalek to sign the player.

Speaking on Modern Channel, Maher Gharib said: "Zamalek received an official offer from Al-Ahli Benghazi to sign Fatouh on September 26. The club was officially informed that 'there is no sale for Fatouh,' and there is no intention whatsoever for him to leave, even on loan."

He continued, "Certainly, Fatouh has the right to sign with any club in January, but he remains under contract with the club and is one of its leaders. We are waiting for the appropriate time to open the file regarding renewing his contract, whether with him or with teammates whose contracts will expire at the end of the season."

He revealed, "Fatouh received an offer from a Turkish club before the start of the season, with a higher amount than the current one, which was also rejected."

He emphasized, "The claims that Fatouh is pressuring to leave Zamalek are incorrect, and certainly, the player is focused on his national duty with the Egyptian national team."

He added, "There is absolutely no intention to sell Fatouh, and any talk about this matter is baseless."

Maher Gharib concluded his statements by saying, "All the funds from the first installment of Juan Pezira's sale were allocated to the football team and the club's other sports activities. It never happened that these funds were spent on fans or board members who paid the club to resolve the licensing issue."

Ahmed Fatouh's contract with Zamalek expires at the end of the current season, and he has the right to sign with any team for free starting next January.

Fatouh played in midfield during recent matches with Zamalek, while Moroccan Mahmoud Bentayk played as left-back.

The 28-year-old is one of Zamalek's leaders and has played 212 matches wearing the White Jersey, scoring 7 goals and providing 22 assists.

He won 8 titles with Zamalek, comprising 3 Egyptian Premier League titles, 3 Egyptian Super Cups, and 2 Confederation Cup titles.
