He added: "We always study the opponent thoroughly and have criteria we analyze. It was a very good match and we gained a lot of experience. We knew the team would dominate possession, so we played on counter-attacks."
He refused to talk about the player who caught his eye at Al Ahly, saying: "It is not my responsibility to speak about a specific player by name. All players performed well; they are high-quality players in terms of ball possession."
When asked who will top the Egyptian league this year, he said: "I think perhaps Pyramids FC, but there are many teams. Zamalek, for example, is playing good football, especially in the last two seasons."
He also discussed the favorite to win the summit clash, confirming that he cannot say who will win, expressing full respect for all teams. He follows Egyptian football closely and loves it, and would be extremely happy to see the Egyptian national team reach the World Cup finals.
