Tarek Ramadan, the player agent authorized by Al Ahly Benghazi in the Ahmed Fatouh deal, discussed the behind-the-scenes details of the transaction.

Samir Salah, Ahmed Fatouh's agent, had previously revealed that Libyan club Al Ahly Benghazi submitted a new offer to Zamalek to sign the player.

Tarek Ramadan stated via Modern Channel: "Initially, there was an exploratory inquiry with Zamalek regarding Ahmed Fatouh's departure. Based on that, we sent an offer from Al Ahly Benghazi for $500,000. Subsequently, Zamalek requested raising the offer until it reached $700,000."

He revealed, "I was surprised that after sending the $700,000 offer, there was no response despite the approval of some board members. Afterwards, the offer was rejected."

He continued, "I communicated with Samir Salah, Fatouh's agent, while he was with the national team, regarding the discrepancy in the agreement between us and Zamalek. Fatouh proposed waiving his dues and paying part of his contract value with the Libyan club to Zamalek to increase the financial value of the offer."

He emphasized, "Fatouh would have received $1.5 million in his first season with Al Ahly Benghazi and $2 million in the second season."

He added, "I cannot disclose the name of the Zamalek board member who negotiated with us regarding the sale value of Fatouh, but what I discovered is that the board lacks cohesion, and each member holds a different opinion."

Tarek Ramadan concluded his statements, "Al Ahly Benghazi is upset with how Zamalek handled the negotiations to sign Fatouh and is considering withdrawing from negotiating with another Egyptian player they intended to sign."

Ahmed Fatouh's contract with Zamalek expires at the end of the current season, allowing him to sign freely with any team starting next January.

Fatouh played in midfield during recent matches with Zamalek, while Moroccan Mahmoud Bentayk played in the left-back position.

The 28-year-old is one of Zamalek's leaders and has played 212 matches wearing the white jersey.

He won three titles with Zamalek: three Egyptian Premier League championships and two Egyptian Super Cups.
