Bayern Munich is preparing to renew the contract of their French winger Michael Olise with a long-term deal.
Michael Olise
Club: Bayern Munich
The German newspaper "Bild" revealed that Bayern Munich wants to extend Olise's contract until the summer of 2032.
The report clarified that the Bavarian team is working on increasing the player's salary to reach €25 million, making it equal to those of Englishman Harry Kane and German Jamal Musiala as the highest earners in the squad.
However, Olise's agent is seeking to add a release clause to the player's contract exceeding €200 million.
This comes within Bayern's desire to ensure the French player's long-term continuation with the team, following the levels he has shown since joining the club.
Olise joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024 from English side Crystal Palace, and his current contract ends in the summer of 2029.
He has played 114 matches for the team so far, scoring 50 goals and providing 58 assists.
Meanwhile, he participated in 7 matches this season, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists.
He won titles with Bayern Munich (the Bundesliga twice, the German Super Cup twice, and the DFB-Pokal once).
