Portuguese Milan winger Rafael Leao has settled his position regarding Al-Hilal's offer in recent days, according to media reports.
According to Sky Sports, Leao recently rejected an offer from Al-Hilal, as he continues to seek a new step in his European career with the summer transfer window closing soon.
The Portuguese player also rejected offers from Newcastle United and Aston Villa, after the player's representatives deemed the salary proposed by the English club insufficient to meet their expectations.
The report indicates that 27-year-old Leao still prefers to continue his career in Europe, despite the lucrative financial offers he has received, while a move to the Turkish league via Galatasaray remains a strong option on the table.
Galatasaray has already moved to sign the Portuguese winger, submitting an offer to Milan worth 35 million euros, but the Italian club rejected it, initially insisting on at least 50 million euros to release their player.
However, Milan's financial demands have begun to decrease over time, with the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that the club is now prepared to accept around 40 million euros.
Leao's situation does not appear ideal within Milan's new project under Ruben Amorim, as Italian reports suggest the manager does not consider the player a central part of his plans, although he has not been completely ruled out of the squad.
It is worth noting that Leao recently responded to the growing rumors about his future, confirming that his focus is on the pitch and that the management of his professional affairs is now limited to his family and his lawyer.
