Media reports today revealed the latest developments regarding the future of Alejandro Balde, Barcelona's defender, whose fate with the Blaugrana remains uncertain whether he stays or leaves.
It was reported that Balde could leave Barcelona before the current summer transfer window closes, while Manchester United is keen on signing the 22-year-old player.
Balde's chances of playing regularly for Barcelona have diminished following the signing of Joao Cancelo on a free transfer after the Portuguese international terminated his contract with Al-Hilal.
Additionally, Barcelona coach Hans Flick excluded Balde from Sunday's match against Elche in the second round of La Liga.

However, according to 'Barca Universal' citing 'El Chiringuito', Balde will remain at Barcelona and will not leave during the current summer transfer window.
The source confirmed that Balde will not change his destination and will compete for the left-back position at Barcelona this season alongside Joao Cancelo and rising talent Xavi Espart.
The source clarified that Barcelona will not attempt to sign another left-back this summer with Balde staying, which will also make it difficult for Barca to add new players due to lack of space in the squad list.
During the press conference ahead of Barcelona's La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao, Flick confirmed that Balde would be included in tomorrow's lineup, hinting at the player's potential continuation with the Catalan club and ruling out his departure (details here).
The source added that Cancelo will start tomorrow against Athletic Bilbao, and now Balde must make the most of every minute he plays to fight for regaining his place at Barcelona, especially with Xavi Espart's impressive performance against Elche.
