A source within Ismaily Club revealed the latest developments regarding the team's head coach file, following Ashraf Khedr's resignation after the loss to Egyptian Telecom.
Ismaily suffered their second consecutive defeat in the Professional League, losing 2-0 to Egyptian Telecom last Friday in the second round of the competition.
Ismaily began their Professional League campaign with a 3-1 loss to Masar, before Ashraf Khedr decided to resign from coaching the team.
A source told "Yalla Kora" exclusively: "Ahmed Fekry El-Saghir will lead Ismaily's training session tomorrow, following the acceptance of Ashraf Khedr's resignation."
He added: "Ahmed Fekry El-Saghir is close to technically leading the team against Al-Nasr in the upcoming round, due to time constraints and the difficulty of signing a new head coach before the next match."
"Yalla Kora" has learned that the club's board contacted former head coach Khaled Galal to lead Al-Darawish again, but matters appear difficult according to the source's statements.
Ismaily is preparing to face Al-Nasr at 4:30 PM next Friday, in the third round of the Professional League competition.
