RB Leipzig broke its silence regarding the possibility of Yan Diomande transferring to Real Madrid this summer, as the German club's sporting director, Marcel Schäfer, spoke about the possibility of the deal happening.
It was reported that Real Madrid had almost officially announced the signing of Diomande this summer, after reaching a final agreement with Leipzig on all terms.
However, Schäfer denied the existence of any final agreement between Leipzig and Real Madrid, mocking the famous journalist "Fabrizio Romano," who confirmed on more than one occasion Diomande's transfer to the Royal Club.

Schäfer said in statements to the "Sky Sports" network: "It is clear that some people, who appoint themselves as experts in the transfer market, claimed a few days ago that the deal had been completed, or said: Here we are, this is not true, we have not reached that stage yet."
Some reports had confirmed the existence of an obstacle that could prevent Diomande's transfer to Real Madrid, represented by the dispute between the player's current agency, Rock Nation, and Maxidel Management, the former agency of the Ivorian international.
In the event of Diomande's transfer to Real Madrid, the value of the deal is expected to exceed 100 million euros.
