German club Leipzig announced the absence of the young Ivorian winger, Yan Diomande, from the team's delegation heading to the preparatory camp in the Austrian city of Saalfelden, due to an infection, confirming that he will join the team as soon as he recovers.
The club added, in an official statement, that Norwegian Antonio Nusa will join the camp in the middle of next week, after the end of his vacation, while Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi will be absent due to entering negotiations with another club, alongside Diomande who will not travel due to illness.

These developments come at a time when negotiations are still ongoing between Leipzig and Real Madrid regarding Diomande's move to the Spanish club during the current summer transfer window.
Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg had earlier confirmed that Real Madrid is pushing to conclude the deal over the weekend, while the player has expressed a clear desire to move to the Bernabeu, amid ongoing talks between the two clubs.
Sky Sport Germany had asked Leipzig coach Martin Demichelis: "Yan Diomande is sick. You are flying to training camp at 5:00 p.m. Will Diomande travel with the team? Is that the plan?"
Demichelis replied: "I know it's a big topic. Yan is really sick. We'll see. I haven't spoken to the doctor yet. If he's healthy, he should come with us. If he's sick, he's sick."
