Al Ahly Club has begun talks with Croatian Dynamo Zagreb regarding the signing of Algerian striker Mounsef Bekkar, according to what a source inside the Red Castle revealed.
Croatian reports had recently mentioned that Al Ahly had submitted an offer to sign Mounsef Bekkar during the current summer transfer period. Read the details from here
But according to what a source inside Al Ahly said in statements to Yalla Koura, the club has begun its talks with Dynamo Zagreb officials to inquire about Bekkar's situation and the possibility of signing him, and so far no official offer has been submitted.
It is worth noting that Bekkar's name (25 years old) was linked to a transfer to Al Ahly earlier.
The Algerian player joined Dynamo Zagreb in the summer of 2025 coming from New York City American for one million euros, and his current contract extends until June 2028.
