Marc Cucurella, Real Madrid's new full-back, expressed his pride in wearing the royal club's jersey, affirming his desire to win numerous titles and delight the club's fans.

Cucurella participated in his first official match with Real Madrid against Espanyol on Saturday during the second round of La Liga, which ended in a 2-1 victory for the royal club.
Speaking at his presentation conference as a Real Madrid player, Cucurella said: "It is a great honor and a very special day. The summer was long, but wearing the jersey of the best club in the world is a huge privilege. I hope this will be a wonderful chapter, and that we can achieve many titles."
He continued, "I hope to have successful seasons and win the UEFA Champions League. I am eager to play at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium; I know its impact and the awe it inspires, especially in return legs."
He concluded, "This will be one of the most beautiful chapters of my career, and I hope everything goes well so we can delight the Real Madrid fans."
Cucurella joined Real Madrid from Chelsea on a contract extending until the summer of 2032.
Cucurella played for the Spanish national team and contributed to La Roja's World Cup triumph after their 1-0 victory over Argentina in extra time, with the goal scored by Ferran Torres.
During his time at Chelsea, Cucurella made 163 appearances, scoring 9 goals and providing 13 assists.
Real Madrid will play their postponed match against Real Sociedad from the first round next Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
