England won 2-0 against the Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League.
Barcelona's Gordon scored the opening goal with a header following a magical pass from Real Madrid's Alexander-Arnold.
Gordon told Sky Sports: "I make that run time and again, and there is only a certain type of player who has the technique, ability, and courage to take that risk by playing such a ball."
He added, "Credit goes to Arnold, which is why he is such an incredible player. I was really looking forward to playing alongside him for this reason."
He concluded, "Trent has had his own journey with the England team. He wanted to play more than he did, but he is a great character. He is a fantastic addition."
