Aurélien Tchouaméni, midfielder of the French national team, is close to returning to the starting lineup of the Roosters in the match against Spain, scheduled to take place on Tuesday evening, as part of the semi-final competitions of the 2026 World Cup.
According to the French newspaper L'Équipe, the Real Madrid star participated fully in the collective training sessions, after missing the round of 16 match against Paraguay and the quarter-final against Morocco due to an adductor muscle injury.
The newspaper added that head coach Didier Deschamps intends to field Tchouaméni in the starting lineup, while Manu Koné is expected to return to the bench, despite the good level he showed during the absence of the Real Madrid player.
L'Équipe pointed out that Deschamps will not make any other changes to the lineup, with continued reliance on Désiré Doué in the attacking line at the expense of Bradley Barcola, following the outstanding performance he delivered against Morocco.
