In statements sent to journalists, Mohamed Morad, the media coordinator for the Egyptian national team, confirmed that news circulating about Ibrahim Hassan, the Egypt team manager, insulting players during the match against Angola was incorrect.

The team's media coordinator clarified that video clips showed Hossam Hassan and Mohamed Salah together while the latter was sitting on the bench, denying any altercations occurred.
