The Egyptian national team concluded its training session at Cairo International Stadium, in preparation for the friendly against South Africa, scheduled for 9:00 PM on Sunday at the same venue.
Twenty-two players participated in the training session, while Ahmed Fathy rejoined the group exercises after completing his rehabilitation following a thigh bruise sustained during the match against South Sudan.
Egypt defeated South Sudan 5-0 in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2027 African Cup of Nations finals.
Meanwhile, the technical staff led by Hossam Hassan, in coordination with the medical team, decided to rest Haitham Hassan ahead of the match against South Africa.
