Italian club Juventus has officially announced the signing of German international striker Nick Woltemade from English side Newcastle United during the current summer transfer window.

The official statement regarding Woltemade's signing read: "Nick Woltemade joins Juventus from Newcastle on loan until June 30, 2027, to bolster coach Luciano Spalletti's squad."

The Bianconeri secured Woltemade's services for a fee of €2.8 million, plus additional costs amounting to €0.8 million.

Juventus noted that this amount could be increased by up to €0.5 million during the German player's contract term upon achieving specific sporting objectives.

The striker, born in 2002, graduated from Werder Bremen's youth academy and made his first-team debut in 2020, initially on loan at Elversberg, before moving to Stuttgart in the summer of 2024 following a strong Bundesliga season with Werder.

Woltemade cemented his scoring prowess by netting 18 goals in 36 official matches and also contributed to the club's German Cup victory.

Woltemade's statistics and performance caught the attention of the English Premier League, particularly Newcastle United, who decided to sign him last summer.

The German international appeared in 53 official matches wearing the black-and-white kit, scoring 11 goals and providing 6 assists.

Nick is now expected to embark on a new professional chapter with Italian giants Juventus, who are strongly competing for both the Serie A title and the Europa League this season.
