Barcelona coach Hans Flick praised the performance of the duo Raphinha and Fermin Lopez during the friendly tournament the Catalan team played yesterday evening, and also spoke about Araujo's loan move to Liverpool.

Flick said in statements published by Mundo Deportivo newspaper after the friendly tournament: "The pre-season period is unusual. We will not be fully ready even after the international break".

He continued: "The matches were not at their best, but the training sessions were good, and we have to know how to deal with the arrival of Fermin, Raphinha and the rest of the players".

He explained: "I was not entirely satisfied with Friday's training session, but the performance in the match was much better".

He pointed out: "Raphinha has been training for ten days, and Fermin for a little longer. For me, their performance was good. Raphinha is the most important player for me because he brings vitality and speed, and that's what we need. We need full commitment from him to the team, and scoring goals, that's what we need".

He added: "The situation with Casado and Ronnie is not easy for me, but decisions have to be made. I spoke to them at the end of last season, as well as in England, and explained the situation to them and gave them my advice".

Flick also spoke about Araujo, saying: "Ronald is a wonderful person and an amazing player, he has strength and speed, and he is also good at handling the ball, but he believes he also wants to try a new experience. It is unfortunate that something happened in the past, and I think he wanted a change".
