Paris Saint-Germain French club officially announced this Sunday evening the signing of Lucas Digne, the left-back of the English team Aston Villa.

The statement continued: "The French international defender signed a contract with the Parisian club until 2029, and will wear the number 12 jersey".
Lucas Digne was born on July 20, 1993, and progressed through the youth ranks of Lille club, where he played his first professional matches in the French Ligue 1 at the age of eighteen.
His brilliance led to his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2013, and during his first two seasons in the capital, the left-back played 44 matches and provided 5 assists with the team.
During the 2015-2016 season, Lucas Digne moved to Roma on loan, and continued his football career at the highest European levels, where he participated in 42 matches, scoring 3 goals and providing 4 assists.
This successful season caught the attention of Barcelona and its coach Luis Enrique, who at the time was the holder of the UEFA Champions League title with the Catalan club.
The Frenchman played 46 matches in the Blaugrana jersey (2 goals and 3 assists), adding to his cabinet the Spanish League title, two Spanish King's Cups, and the Spanish Super Cup.
After two years in the Spanish league, Lucas Digne joined Everton, where he quickly established himself as one of the best full-backs in the English Premier League.
Over four seasons, he played 127 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 20 assists.
After becoming one of England's most prominent defenders, he continued his professional career in Europe with Aston Villa in January 2022.
