Al-Hilal Club announced its signing of Mohamed Mahrazi, coming from Al-Taawoun Club.
Mahrazi signed a contract linking him to Al-Hilal for a period of 3 years, ending in the summer of 2029.
The player is expected to join his new team's camp in Austria on Tuesday, to complete preparations with the leader, in readiness for the upcoming competitions.
Al-Hilal suffered greatly in the right-back position during the past season, especially after the injury of Portuguese player Cancelo, followed by his exclusion from the local squad and limiting his participation to the Asian Championship, in addition to Hamad Al-Yami's injury after him.
One of Al-Hilal management's goals this summer was to strengthen the right-back position, which was achieved by signing 24-year-old Mohamed Mahrazi, who is also proficient in the defensive midfield position alongside right-back.
Mahrazi had progressed through Al-Ettifaq's youth categories, before leaving for Al-Taawoun first on loan after not getting an opportunity with the first team, before moving permanently to Al-Taawoun in the summer of last year on a 3-year contract.
However, Al-Hilal succeeded in buying out the remainder of his contract with Al-Taawoun, in its pursuit to strengthen the right-back position, especially after the high levels the player showed in the past season.
