The newspaper "Fanatik" Turkish reported that Galatasaray's management has submitted an official offer to sign Ibrahim Diaz, as part of its plan to bolster the team's ranks with elements capable of competing locally and continentally during the upcoming season.
The newspaper explained that the Turkish club continues its intensive activity in the transfer market, as it is also working to finalize a deal for French midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu, who plays for English Burnley. After reaching an agreement with the English club, Galatasaray is close to completing the procedures to sign the player.
In contrast, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu revealed that Galatasaray made direct contact with Ibrahim Diaz to gauge his position on moving to the Turkish league, in an attempt to convince him to embark on a new experience away from Real Madrid.
Despite the Turkish interest, reports indicate that the Moroccan international currently prefers to stay with Real Madrid and not leave the club during the current transfer period, as he aspires to get a greater opportunity to prove his abilities with the team.
Interest in Ibrahim Diaz is not limited to Galatasaray alone, as several European clubs are closely monitoring his situation, most notably the Italian Roma and Milan, alongside English Aston Villa, which is watching developments in the player's file in preparation for a move if the opportunity arises.
At the same time, Jose Mourinho wants to evaluate Ibrahim Diaz during the preparatory camp before making a final decision regarding his future, whether by keeping him in the team's ranks or approving his departure during the summer.
Ibrahim Diaz has one year left on his contract with Real Madrid, while his current market value is around 35 million euros, which makes his future one of the most exciting files during the summer mercato.
