Abu Zahra said on Sada El Balad channel: "Mohamed Salah told me he will continue his career with the Egyptian national team after the World Cup."
He added, "The Egyptian national team in the 2030 World Cup will be led by Mohamed Salah and coached by Hossam Hassan."
The Egyptian national team defeated Australia on penalties in the round of 32 of the World Cup, qualifying for the first time to the round of 16 of the tournament.
This came after the end of regular and extra time with a 1-1 draw.
The Egyptian national team will play against Argentina in the round of 16, and the match will take place next Tuesday at 7 PM Cairo time.
The Argentine national team had defeated Cape Verde 3-2 in the round of 32 after the match went into extra time.
