Saudi press reports revealed today, Tuesday, the desire of one of the big clubs in the Saudi Roshn Professional League to contract with the Egyptian international Mustafa Shobier, goalkeeper of the first football team at Al-Ahly Club, during the current summer transfer window.
This comes after Mustafa Shobier's brilliance with the Egyptian national team in the 2026 World Cup held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and his starting role in leading the Pharaohs to the round of 16 of the tournament.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Weam" reported that one of the big clubs in the Saudi League wants to sign Mustafa Shobier, and there are preliminary talks regarding the deal to bring the goalkeeper from Al-Ahly.

Shobier achieved a distinguished feat in the World Cup, finishing eighth among 145 goalkeepers who participated in the tournament, after the strong performances he delivered wearing the Egyptian national team jersey and starting in 5 matches.
It is worth noting that Shobier had said that turning professional is the dream of any player in the world, stressing that he loves Al-Ahly Club, and that any offers or negotiations would go through the club.
