Celtic are preparing to face Falkirk tonight, with Egyptian professional Haitham Hassan featuring in the match as part of the 2026-2027 Scottish League season.
This match marks the first time Egyptian professional Haitham Hassan starts for Celtic since joining from Real Oviedo this summer.
O'Neil said about Haitham Hassan in statements published by "Daily Record": "Haitham Hassan joined us late."

He added: "Many players who participated in the World Cup are trying to adapt and catch up with the team during the final stage of the preseason preparation."
He added: "It would have been better if he were fully fit and ready to play, but he will start the match. We have seven matches ahead of us over the next twenty-two days."
It is worth noting that Haitham Hassan contributed to Egypt's qualification to the Round of 16 in the World Cup before their 3-2 defeat against Argentina.
