Mohamed Magdy Afsha, the first-team football player for Al Ahly Club, spoke about his return to the Red Castle, after the end of his loan to Al Ittihad Alexandria.
Mohamed Magdy Afsha said, in an interview with the official page of Al Ahly Club: "Praise be to God that I am present in the club this season, and I returned to my home again, and God willing, it will be a season of good for everyone".
He added: "My period with Al Ittihad Alexandria was distinctive, and I joined a big club, and things were difficult at the beginning because we were in a distant position, and praise be to God we achieved the required goal, which is for Al Ittihad to be present in the league".
He continued: "The head coach is the one who decides on my participation, and I train and do everything I have to and commit, Al Ahly is the biggest club in Africa, and you face pressure from all sides, whether from social media or the fans, and this is normal".
He went on: "I have been at the club for 7 years, and Al Ahly has always wanted to win titles, and an Al Ahly player must have character".
He added: "Decisive goals are a blessing from God, and I hope that the current season will be an important one for all of us, and we score important goals, and the most important thing in the end is to win a title".
He pointed out: "Every coach has his own way and personality, we started the preparation period in Egypt, and things were very good, and there is strength and focus, and everyone is focused and wants to prove himself and present something good at the club".
He continued: "We are in the training camp in Spain, and we have friendly matches ahead, and Hussein Amouta and the entire technical staff, and things are going well with them".
He followed: "The coach deals with me well, and there is mutual respect between us, and this is important to me, and the most important thing is the interest of the club and the team, because the most important thing this season is to win titles, especially since last season we missed everything, and this is not Al Ahly's character or the nature of the club".
He added: "This season requires strength, focus, and great responsibility from everyone, and we are facing a difficult season".
He continued: "Things are good in the training camp in Spain, and the weather is good, there is some humidity during the day, but at night there is rain and the weather is very good".
He elaborated: "Competition is always in the team's favor, and I said that the most important thing this season is the team's interest, and it is very important to win titles, and if there is competition on the pitch, this is a very good thing for the coach, and to choose 11 players to participate".
He added: "The season is long at Al Ahly, and we play from 45 to 60 matches in all competitions, and it is important to have competition and focus, and the head coach is the one who makes the decision in the end".
He stated: "We have two friendly matches in Spain, and after that we will face Barcelona, and it is a big and important match and this is Al Ahly Club that must face the greatest teams in the world".
He said: "The coach always talks about the team being one, one responsibility, and discipline for all, and we must look out for each other, and play all for the benefit of the team".
He continued: "There is no such thing in football as big and small, but there is respect, and the team captain, and mutual respect between everyone, and Amouta always talks about focus continuously".
