A source at Zamalek Club stated in an interview with "Yalla Kora" that Maamoun Gamal, the head coach of the first team, is set to decide on the fate of Abdullah Saeed and Chiquinho Bansa regarding their inclusion in the team's lineup for the match against Al-Ittihad Alexandria during today's final training session.
The source clarified that the duo participated in the White Knight's collective training sessions over the past few days, as well as in the technical scrimmage, confirming their readiness to participate in matches.
Abdullah Saeed and Chiquinho Bansa joined Zamalek Club's camp in mid-August of this month, after reaching a definitive agreement with the management to continue with the team in the coming period.
Zamalek played three friendly matches during the preparation period for the new season, starting with a win against Al-Plastic (3-0), followed by a comprehensive victory over Orange (4-0), and a positive draw with Modern Sport in the third match (2-2).
The White Knight is the current holder of the Egyptian League title, having won the championship in the previous 2025-2026 season after fierce competition with Al-Ahly and Pyramids teams.
